How to Create Your Canvas

Creating and publishing your own canvas on a7a.io is simple and straightforward. Follow the steps below to design, provision, and publish your creative content to your own subdomain.

  1. Go to the Canvas Creator page.
    This is where you will design and preview your canvas content.
  2. Enter your Canvas Name.
    This will determine your subdomain (e.g., your-name.a7a.io). The subdomain preview updates as you type.
  3. Select the Canvas Type.
    Currently, only HTML Canvas is supported.
  4. Design your Canvas.
    Use the HTML/CSS editor to create your content. You can use any HTML and CSS, but JavaScript and hyperlinks are not allowed for security and content integrity.
  5. Preview your Canvas in real time.
    As you type, the live preview panel will update to show exactly how your canvas will appear.
  6. Choose your Rental Contract.
    Select the contract type and duration. The estimated cost will update automatically.
  7. Submit your Canvas for Provisioning.
    Click Create Canvas & Rent Subdomain to submit your canvas. Your subdomain will be provisioned and your canvas published at https://your-name.a7a.io for the duration of your contract.
  8. See your Canvas in the Live Queue.
    If eligible, your canvas will also appear in the live queue on the a7a.io homepage.
Tip: Make sure your content follows the guidelines—no JavaScript, no links, and no explicit or copyrighted material.
